Racing

ROBERTSON’s GOLLY, sailed by Clare Francis, took part in the 1976 Observer Single Handed Trans Atlantic Race (OSTAR). This forms the basis of a well known book („Come hell or high water“) written by herself.

The ‚Golly‘ is now back into service and has her own website.
Clare Francis skippered "ACCUTREC“, a SWAN 65, as first female skipper in the
1977-78 Whitbread Round The World Race. She is a famous author of novels.

PAGEANT (US 2115) came in second in her class in the 1969 Bermuda Race. Her current name is SPARHAWK. As COPERNICUS she participated in the 98 Pacific Cup.

TYNAJE (US 2222) by Peter Ross and family has been sailed extensively on the US and Canadian East Coast. Her racing success is unmatched.
